Annual Certificate Renewal
One of the requirements for maintaining your WETT certification in good standing is paying an annual renewal fee. This fee is due by December 31 of every year.
At least three renewal reminders will be sent to you, advising that the renewal fee is due. Reminders are sent on October 1, November 1 and December 1. Your payment reminder will be emailed to you unless you have previously requested to have it mailed to you.
To ensure you receive your renewal notices, it is important that we have your current contact information at all times. For instructions on how to update your contact information, please read https://mailchi.mp/wettinc/bftzfeoj4t
Payment may be made by credit card by logging in to the members only section of this website. If you do not wish to pay online, you may call the WETT National Office at 1-888-358-9388 and provide your credit card information over the phone.
If you would prefer to pay by cheque, call our office and we will email you a renewal form. Please return a copy of your renewal form with your payment and remember to include your name and WETT certification number on your cheque.
Your cheque should be made payable to WETT Inc. and mailed to the WETT National Office in Toronto.
Reinstating Your Certification
If your payment is not received by January 30 of the following year, we will notify you that your certification has lapsed. You will no longer have access to the WETT Member Forum, the CSA B365 e-book, WETT inspection forms, other member-only resources and discounts at Mark’s Work Wearhouse. You will not be able to log in to the members-only section of our website. Your name will also no longer appear in the Find a WETT Professional search and you will not be able to perform WETT Inspections.
Once your certification has lapsed, you cannot renew by logging in to our website. To pay your renewal by credit card, contact the WETT National office by phone 1-888-358-9388 or email support@wettinc.ca for assistance.
If you renew within three years of having lapsed, you will be required to be current with your continuing education (CE) requirements and pay all outstanding renewal fees plus a $100 administration fee.
If you renew after being lapsed for three but no more than five years (37 to 60 months), you will be required to attend and successfully complete the Code Compliance course and pay all outstanding renewal fees plus a $100 administration fee.
If you wish to reinstate your certification after being lapsed for five years or more (60 months or more), you will be required to begin the WETT training and certification process from the beginning. This means successfully completing all three core courses required for WETT certification https://wett.squarespace.com/wett-certification
In order to be eligible to reinstate your certification, you must be up to date with your CE requirements.

5.1.1 Each WETT certificate holder is required to pay an annual renewal fee to maintain the certification in good standing. This fee is due and payable on December 31st of every year.
5.3 Failure to Renew
